I can’t believe it’s been ONE WHOLE YEAR since I said “I do” to my very best friend. I thought what better time to unpack our wedding details with y’all than around our first anniversary?! Our wedding was an absolute dream and I’m so thankful for every family member or friend of ours who helped set up, decorate, clean up, etc. for us! We truly had a dream team help us make everything happen and we felt so loved by the people in our life!
Michael reading a letter from me… he wrote me one too but we don’t have a photo of me reading it! It was so sweet, my bridesmaids put together a book of letters from all of them, my parents, and Michael! I SOBBED.
My dress is from a bridal shop in my hometown called “I Do”
I did a “first look” with my girlies and it was so fun! Highly recommend doing this cause it makes really sweet pictures & gets you pumped for the real first look LOL
I also did a first look with my dad – he hadn’t seen my dress yet!
These make me cry every time I look at them.

The most nervous I’ve ever felt in my life! Sooo many butterflies!
The moment that made me feel 1000x times better! I was with my person now, let’s go get married! Seriously, jitters = gone once I finally saw him.

MY DAD AND MICHAEL
We did something unique at our wedding. I’ve known since I was a little girl that my dad would be the one to marry my groom and me. But I also wanted him to walk me down the isle. So, we made it work! He walked me down the isle, and instead of someone asking “who gives this woman?” my dad directly addressed Michael. It was the sweetest thing I’ve ever witnessed and I’m so glad we did it this way.
At the end of his speech he looked at my groom and said “I am so happy it’s you.” There’s no better feeling than the two most important men in your life having a relationship like mine do! They’re BFFs.

I can’t believe it’s already been a YEAR of marriage! Being Michael’s wife is my biggest gift from God & I’m so thankful every day that I get to love him forever!
