Thanksgiving Week with Toyota 2020 Highlander Limited AWD

Hey, hey! I hope you are all getting back into the swing of things after a holiday week. We had a wonderful time with Michael’s family celebrating Thanksgiving! This year looked a lot different, as I’m sure is the case with most of you, in that we had a smaller gathering with just his immediate family. It was still so fun, relaxing, and my heart is full after spending a few days with family! We ate a lot and watched lots of Christmas movies.

To make our trip up there, Toyota was kind enough to loan us a 2020 Highlander Limited AWD — and man, was it awesome! The infotainment center on the dash was seriously huge — look at this little clip from my Instagram stories:

This vehicle had so many features — Michael and I were SO impressed. It had seat warmers, seat coolers (which is a non-negotiable in my next car — mark my words!), and a steering wheel heater! The interactive screen on the dash let you customize and control pretty much everything. It also displayed the navigation on the screen in front of the driver, too! Down by the speedometer – which was really cool to me.

Michael’s favorite part was that when you’re driving with cruise control, you set the speed you want, and the vehicle automatically recognizes the speed of the car in front of you and speeds up/slows down accordingly. No more turning cruise control off and on when the cars in front of you change speeds unexpectedly! This is a game changer for road trips, because that can be so annoying on a long drive!

We put the storage of this vehicle to the test on Black Friday! Our family fit comfortably in the Highlander, along with our many shopping bags! This is important to me as I look for my next vehicle — I need lots of room and storage. However, I don’t want a vehicle that is bulky/too big for me. The Highlander is the perfect mix for me! Spacious and roomy, but not hard for me to whip around.

If you’re in the market for a vehicle, this might be the one! The Highlander really impressed us and will definitely be something that we consider when it’s time for me to upgrade [Michael, if you’re reading this, it is time!!! 😉]
